When Mondrian Meets Pollock....

When Mondrian Meets Pollock.... plus my bluebirds.... Please meet my new original acrylic painting "When Mondrian Meets Pollock". This artwork is my tribute to two of my favorite artists: Piet Mondrian and Jackson Pollock. The painting's background is painted using geometric, colored rectangular forms and black lines which are representative of Mondrian's style, spontaneous splatter of paint on the upper right and lower left corners of the composition is representative of Jackson Pollock's "drip" technique or action painting. The painting is accented with my abstract bluebirds of happiness. The painting also has somewhat rustic look and feel.

"When Mondrian Meets Pollock" birds painting was created on 16"x20"x3/4" back stapled gallery wrapped canvas. The artwork is wired and ready to hang right out the package! Sides are painted in black - no frame required! Certificate of Authenticity is also included, signed and dated by me, the artist.
