Unusual Architecture

As a daughter of an architect, I am always fascinated with architecture, especially with unusual structures that bring your imagination to a totally different dimension. Here are just a few fantastic finds!

Boat Houses (California)

Castel Meur "The House Between the Rocks" (France)

McBride Charles Ryan - Klein Bottle House (Australia)

Torre Galatea (Spain)

Montreal Biosphère (Canada)

Sydney Opera House (Australia)

  1. I'm with you! When I first moved out to the country my focus was to photograph country scenes, animals, nature, etc... I sill like that stuff buy now all that unusual stuff seems to be pulling me like a magnet and I'm having more fun with that.

I love those houseboats. I would really love to go inside one of them.

Hubby and I are planning a dream road trip in 2012 and my goal is to find cool stuff like that.

    Love this post!!!

  2. Sher, thank you so very much for visiting my blog and for your comment! Actually, these boat houses are now used as apartment buildings. They were originally constructed and completed in 1920s..... :-)
