My old pouring paintings......

I was just looking at my old personal website and found myself fascinated with my older pouring artworks. Sometimes, it takes time to realize how great they turned out and how much fun it was creating them. I like to tell my students not to paint over something they may not initially like, but wait for a while and take a second look.... and often people are surprised at what they find a few days later "the painting looks really interesting now, wow!".

Did this ever happen to you? When you created something and wanted to change, but let it sit overnight and had a change of heart? Love to hear your stories!
