I recently joined a fantastic handmade place: Handmade Spark (http://www.handmadespark.com)! Handmade Spark is a great place to promote your handmade items and meet wonderful people interested in unique, handmade items. Handmade Spark is designed and run by an internet guru and very talented and successful metal artist Timothy Adam. Tim was able to quit his day job and dedicate his time to his handmade etsy business, which is his passion. I truly admire people who are able to turn their passions into their full time jobs! I know it's not easy.

I love the site for a number of reasons. First of all, I trust Tim with his promotional efforts. I know that his knowledge of SEO, marketing and social media will make Handmade Spark a household name in no time. Second, the site's UI is very intuitive and user-friendly. The site has a number of wonderful features: blog where one can find very interesting and informative articles related to running a business as well as handmade items features. Another feature is a mini-site that links together your blog, website, facebook page, twitter, and etsy shop. And finally, Handmade Spark is actively promoted on social sites and blogs.
